CCLC is dedicated to helping adult Charles County residents (age 18 or older) improve their reading and math skills through our tutoring efforts.

Prospective adult learners are first assessed to determine their level of need in reading and/or math. There is a $20.00 fee to help defray the cost of the assessment. Once assessed, the adult learner will be matched with a tutor or will be placed on a waiting list until a tutor is available. All tutoring and books are free.

Please keep in mind:

    • The prospective adult learner contact us personally.
    • Adult Learners will be assigned tutors based on availability.
    • Once assessed adult learners are asked to sign an agreement in order to ensure their commitment to our program.
